Hertha legend 'Zecke' Neuendorf tells us how he thinks the lads will do! This time: SC Freiburg at home!
Berlin - 'Zecke', a Hertha player for 15 years gives us his view on opponents ahead of each Bundesliga matchday.
"After the good performance and 2-0 victory in Mainz, many people expect us to beat lowly SC Freiburg, who are currently second bottom in the Bundesliga table. But before the Mainz game we were second bottom and few people thought we would win there apart from ourselves, so we must not underestimate them!!!
We switched well from defence to attack in Mainz. I'm sure that Freiburg will try to do the same thing in Berlin on Sunday, So we will need a strong will and focus - a game can be decided in the final minute. Maybe we can perform the way we did during the first half last time out. Then anything is possible.
The lads have trained hard this week - exactly what we need at the moment. We have to start a run as soon as possible, especially considering how tight things are in the table at the moment. A good run can also mean we don't lose any more games!
I am really looking forward to the home debut of our new coach Pal Dardai, and know that lots of fans are too. Kalou is back after winning the Africa Cup with Ivory Coast and is an alternative for up front. Our captain Fabian Lustenberger is suspended, but we have a big squad, so Pal will find an alternative for him and send a top team out to face Freiburg HaHoHe!"
