KICK OFF!
KICK OFF!

Hertha legend 'Zecke' Neuendorf tells us how he thinks the lads will do! This time: VfL Wolfsburg away!
Berlin - 'Zecke', a Hertha player for 15 years gives us his view on opponents ahead of each Bundesliga matchday.
"VfL Wolfsburg are our next opponents. For me the "Wolves" are something of the team of the hour - although you could describe them as the team of the season. Their consistency this season is second only to that of Bayern Munich. The well- deserve to be in second place in the Bundesliga table, with an eight point cushion over third place which speaks volumes.
Hertha can hardly be called the team of the hour, but the game in Wolfsburg begins at 0-0. I remember the first meeting between the two sides earlier in the season very well, because our team faced up to the challenge against the attacking machine from the opening whistle. That is exactly where our chance lies this time around. Determined tackling will be crucial. Just as important will be winning the decisive and key battles - unlike we did last time out.
If we can perform the way we did in Mainz, we have a chance against de Bruyne/Sch¸rrle/Dos and Co. Of course our defence will be in the spotlight against such fire power, but they showed they can stand up for themselves in our last away game. We probably won't get many scoring chances, but this season has shown that one of our few strengths has been the ability to take them. In a nutshell: Win the decisive tackles and take the few chances offered up front !
If things go that way, we could enjoy success. We won't forget the strengths that VfL have, but do well against them and confidence is high! Of course I can say many things, but if we can perform as a unit and everyone fights for each other it will be a great game and maybe we can take something home from it!"
