Hertha legend 'Zecke' Neuendorf tells us how he thinks the lads will do! This time: Hannover 96!
Berlin - 'Zecke', 15 years a Herha player, looks ahead to each matchday and tells us how things might turn out.
"There have only been three days of training and the next crucial game is already upon us. Tonight we take on Hannover 96 away from home to fight for the next three points we need to retain top flight status.
They are below us in the table, after suffering a couple of awful weeks. But from potential, I still see Hannover as the Europa League participants of past years: Bittencourt, Joselu, Stindl, can all play a bit. Hannover have recently only rarely taken points despite often being the better team.
Add to that: Right now the Niedersachen-based side (just like us and other teams around us in the table) need every point they can get, in their desperate battle to avoid the dreaded drop. Still, we are confident and are currently enjoying a five-game unbeaten run - four of those with clean sheets. We need a top performance at the floodlit HDI Arena in Hannover tonight. But don't worry, our lads have now learned how to reward themselves. HaHoHe!"
