Hertha legend 'Zecke' Neuendorf tells us how he thinks the lads will do! This time: Borussia Mönchengladbach!
Berlin - 'Zecke', 15 years a Herha player, looks ahead to each matchday and tells us how things might turn out
"So my friends. Matchday 30 and the game could hardly be any tougher: Borussia Mönchengladbach at home. Borussia are on of the best teams in the Bundesliga and are also in fine form, as their victory over Bayern in Munich showed. They are tight at the back and incredibly quick up front. With men like Raffael (we've heard of him...), Kruse, Hahn, Traore and Hazard, we will need to be on our collective guard.
Regardless of recent positive results from Hertha this game will be really tough. Gladbach want automatic qualification to the Champions League. I think: We must at least not lose this match. A point against Gladbach could prove very valuable in the end, although if we have a chance to take more do it! We must however not forget where we have come from.
So: Work, work and work some more, while keeping it water tight at the back and convert the few chances we will create unlike we did in Munich. Pal Dardai once rightly said: "There is nothing like a home game at the Olympic stadium." He's right too! Which is why we will ask a lot of questions of Gladbach in front of a huge crowd on Sunday. HaHoHe!"
