Everything you need to know if you are travelling to the Olympiastadion on Saturday afternoon
Berlin – This weekend we welcome XXXX to the Olympiastadion. For everyone planning to watch the game on YYYY, here is all the information you need to know. 
Large events in Berlin require a high level of attention from safety officials, even if there is no reason to believe there is an increased risk of danger. Police officers from Berlin will be in very visible attendance in and around the stadium, to increase the feeling of safety and to be ready to act should something happen. In addition to this, there will also be barriers and police cars on site to back up these officers. 
Tips for travelling:
To make sure you do not miss the start of the game, we recommend you aim to get to the stadium as early as possible.
Parking spaces at the stadium are limited, so please also use the local transport system.
Please make yourself aware of any potential delays and timetable changes before travelling.
There will be no more special M49 bus services between Spandau Heerstrasse and the stadium provided by the BVG.

PO1 (pay and display)
PO4 (pay and display)

Tips for stadium entry:
The stadium and the turnstiles open at 1pm.
Because of high number of tickets that are due to be picked up, the collection point for the game will be located at PO4.
The ticket collection point for visiting licensed referees can be found on the right hand side of the east gate.  
Wheelchair users, disabled visitors, handicapped ticket holders and their carers are advised to use the middle gates (located between the east and south gates) 
Please be aware that plastic and glass bottles may not be brought into the stadium. 
Tetra Pak cartons of up to a litre may be brought into the stadium so long as they do not contain alcohol. 
Hertha BSC volunteers will be outside and inside the ground to help you with any questions and problems you have before during and after the game. They can be easily spotted by their clothing, which will have ‘VOLUNTEER’ printed on it. 
There is limited availability to leave items at the entrance cloakrooms, although large bags, backpacks and suitcases cannot be handed in. Please avoid bringing bags, backpacks and such items into the ground.
It is not possible to leave bike helmets in the cloakroom during the winter months. 
Tips for at the stadium:
The Hertha BSC fan shop will open at the same time as the stadium
The ‘Herthinhos’ mini club will be open
Away tickets can be collected at the fan-mobile in front of the east gate
Meeting point for player mascots is by the lamppost at the east gate
