Per Skjelbred picked up an strain in his thigh in the match against Leipzig and is therefore out for the time being.
Per Skjelbred suffered a strain in his thigh against RasenBallsport Leipzig on Saturday with the confirmation coming on Monday (08/05/17) following an MRT scan. The 29-year-old, who has made 25 Bundesliga appearances for the club in the capital this season, will sit out training for the next few days.
Pál Dárdai was forced to bring off the midfielder in the 64th minute against Leipzig. The Norwegian had already run more than eight kilometres by that point but was replaced by Allan Souza in defensive midfield. However the Brazilian was unable to prevent his side from slipping to a 4-1 defeat against the newly promoted side.
