Finally an away win!

Pal Dardai had to completely re-jig his centre back pairing after suspensions for John Brooks and Sebastian Langkamp. Thankfully Niklas Stark was fit enough to start alongside Jordan Torunarigha. Allan Souza almost produced something magical just after the break, just missing the target from fully 60 yards with the goalkeeper off his line. Alex Esswein hit the post with twenty minutes to go but other than it was a professional and mature performance from Pal Dardai’s men saw the game through to full-time. There was even time for Arne Maier to make his Bundesliga debut in the final minutes as well.
