TEDi to become official Hertha shirt sleeve sponsor

Berlin– TEDi will become Hertha’s shirt sleev sponsor in 2017/18. It will be the biggest involvement in football marketing for the retailer to date, which will include use of the company logo on the team shirt and other advertising. The deal is a long-term one, with the company signing a four-year deal with Hertha.
As part of the contract, TEDi will focus heavily on the family-orientated side of things, including becoming a partner of the Hertha BSC academy and the Kids Club. They will also gain naming rights for a section of the stadium and will introduce a family cam The company logo will also appear on the chest of Hertha mascot Hertinho. A further highlight will be the chance for fans to sit on a ‘Fan Bank’ on the Marathon Plateau of the Olympiastadion and take in the match from there. Ingo Schriller clarified the new partnership: „We are excited to have gained such a strong shirt partner for next season. We are proud that TEDi have decided to get their continually growing brand into the Bundesliga with Hertha BSC,” said the Hertha finance director.
TEDi spokesman Silvan Wohlfarth said: „Hertha BSC is a grounded club, who provide tickets for every man. We are proud to say the Hertha players will ear our logo on their sleeves next season.”TEDi has around 1,600 stores in Europe and is one of the leading brands of its kind in Germany.
The Dortmund based company has 13,000 employees and has branched out to six European countries. The range of products on offer includes household goods, party essentials, DIY and electrical as well as writing equipment, toys and drugs and pharmaceuticals. Car and bike accessories are also available not to mention seasonal items too.
