Berlin - A busy weekend of friendly football continues for Hertha as they take part in the 'Cup of Traditions' on Sunday in Duisburg. The Berliners will face Malaga first on Sunday, who head coach Pál Dárdai referred to as "an interesting opponent". The game against the 11th best side in Spain last season is scheduled for 14:00 CEST. In the other match, second division side MSV Duisburg take on Aston Villa of the English Championship. The two losers will meet in the third place play-off at 15:00 CEST and then one hour later, the two winners will face off in the final. The games will last 45 minutes.
Dárdai wants to use two different formations in Hertha's two matches at the tournament which they won last year. "Everyone should get some game time," said the head coach. The Hertha boss will be able to call on Vladimir Darida who has not been able to train fully in the last couple of days because of bruising. Davie Selke is set to make his first appearance for Hertha after training with his new colleagues on Friday and Saturday. Rune Jarstein, Salomon Kalou and Maurice Covic will all miss out, but Jarstein and Kalou should resume full training next week. Niklas Stark, Jordan Torunarigha, Dennis Smarsch, Jonathan Klinsmann, Thomas Kraft and Julian Schieber will all be missing.
