Friendly for Hertha against Club Italia

The scheduling of the friendly comes on short notice, but the Blue-Whites will be taking on amateur side Club Italia in the Amateurstadion at 18:00 CEST. 

Berlin – Hertha BSC have arranged to play a friendly against Club Italia on short notice on Friday (28/07/17). Manager Pal Dardai sees the game against the amateur side as a good chance for his team to gain more match experience in competitive conditions. “It’s always nice for the players to play rather than train, so that’s just another way that we can go back about our course,” said Dardai. Expect players from the U23s to receive game time.

The amateur side from Zehlendorf, who were also welcomed as the visiting side to the Amateurstadion a year ago, managed to secure the Bezirksliga title in the 2016/17 season, and are now preparing themselves for the season ahead of them. They’re manager hasn’t changed from last year: World Cup winner Thomas ‘Icke’ Häßler. Entry to the game will be free.
