Haraguchi to miss two games

Genki Haraguchi will miss Hertha’s next two games after his sending off against Schalke 04, the German FA confirmed on Monday (16.10). The Japanese midfielder will miss the two matches against SC Freiburg and Hamburger SV.
Berlin – It was the crucial moment in Hertha’s defeat to Schalke 04: Haraguchi’s sending off in the 44th minute for a foul on Guido Gurgstaller on the halfway line. The Hertha player was shown a straight red by referee Benjamin Brand. The decision to suspend Haraguchi for two games was upheld by the German FA on Monday and was not contested by the club. This means the 26-year old will miss the Blue White’s Sunday match against SC Freiburg and a week later against HSV (28.10). Nevertheless, Haraguchi is eligible for the UEFA Europa League clash at Sorja Luhanst (19.10) and the DFB-Pokal tie against 1. FC Köln (25.10).
