Hertha BSC confirm Lazaro signing

Valentino Lazaro has committed his long-term future to Hertha BSC, making permanent the loan move from Red Bull Salzburg.

Berlin – He came, he signed. Hertha BSC have announced the signing of Valentino Lazaro on a long-term deal. Hertha announced that the Lazaro’s loan deal had been made permanent on Thursday, November 16th. The Austrian, who moved from Red Bull Salzburg in the summer, has played eight games for Pàl Dàrdai’s side so far this season, making one assist. “Valentino has shown from the outset exactly why we wanted to sign him. He has big potential and is a good fit in our team – that’s why it made sense for us to sign him long-term,” said Michael Preetz.

Lazaro, who has just returned from international duty with Austria, was enthusiastic after the announcement. “I’m very pleased the team showed faith in me. I’m going to give my all on the pitch to pay this trust back. I’ve felt at home here since day one, in the city as well as the team,” said Hertha’s number 20.
