Defender undergoes successful operation on Tuesday on broken bone in his nose.
Berlin- It wouldn’t have been how Niklas Stark imagined his birthday. The 23-year-old may have helped his team to a 2-1 victory over Cologne in Berlin last weekend, but it came at a price for the Hertha youngster. The defender suffered a broken nose. “It was an intense game for me. It’s always tough to play against a striker like Jhon Cordoba. He caught me on the nose in a tackle, and I was worried it was broken,” said the defender after the game. That has now been confirmed.
Hertha’s number 5 underwent a small operation on Tuesday.
