Hertha to open the season at home against Nürnberg

Berlin - The fixture list is here! On Friday, the DFL released its schedule for the 2018/19 Bundesliga season. Hertha will start the new league campaign at home against 1. FC Nürnberg. The exact kick off time for the game against the newly promited side is not yet known. “Nürnberg will not be an easy opponent. Newly promoted sides always play with a lot of excitement and energy, but we will be well prepared,” said head coach Pál Dárdai.
The first away trip of next season will see Dárdai’s men travel to Gelsenkirchen to face FC Schalke 04. That fixture is set to take place at some point between 31st August and 1st September. After the first international break of the season, Hertha then hit the road to face Wolfsburg (14.09.-16.09.18). On matchday 4 it will be Borussia Mönchengladbach that are the guests at the Olympiastadion (21.09.-23.09.18). The season’s first midweek game follows next, when Hertha will travel to Bremen to face Werder (25.09.-26.09.18). Reigning champions Bayern Munich will then come to Berlin to round off September (28.09.-30.09.18).
