Barnstorming victory against Liefering

Ahead of the first competitive game of the season in the DFB Pokal against Eintracht Braunschweig, Hertha BSC will contest a friendly on August 15th against third-division Halleschen FC.

Berlin - the final dress rehearsal of pre-season has been planned. Five days before competitive football gets back underway for the 2018/19 season, Hertha BSC will play a friendly at the Wurfplatz/Amateurstadion against Hallescher FC. The clash against the side from the third tier is scheduled to kick off at 16:00 CEST on August 15th. Hallescher should serve as the ideal sparring partners for the Blue-Whites, as they play their football in the same division as Eintracht Braunschweig, who Hertha face on August 20th at 18:30 CEST in the first round of the DFB Pokal.

Both Braunschweig and Halle started their domestic campaigns last weekend. For Pál Dárdai's men, it will be their tenth and final friendly of pre-season. Their Bundesliga season begins on August 25th against 1. FC Nürnberg, five days after the Cup encounter.
