A deserved victory!
A deserved victory!

Rune Jarstein, Marko Grujić, Jordan Torunarigha, Fabian Lustenberger, Marvin Plattenhardt, Mathew Leckie and Davie Selke spoke to the media after their 1-0 victory over Eintracht Frankfurt.
Hertha BSC won their second game in a row as they beat Eintracht Frankfurt 1-0 on Saturday evening at the Olympiastadion. It was an important 1-0 win for the home side.
Rune Jarstein: I think it was a deserved victory. It is a super feeling! It was also great personally to get another clean sheet, which is always my aim. We now have three games ahead of us which we will need to be fully focused and put in good performances.
Marko Grujić: First and foremost, I want to stress how hard we worked as a team. It was a very tough game and you could see why Frankfurt are high in the table. We scored at the perfect time and we were able to regroup afterwards and go into the second half with even more confidence. When I scored, I was full of emotion and it was a very special moment. I am very happy to have scored. When the corner came in, I had a feeling I was going to score. It was a very important victory and now we are back in the top 6.
Jordan Torunarigha: That was a highly competitive match. We played well in the first half, were strong in the challenges and followed our match plan. In the second half, we allowed Frankfurt to create more chances. We can say we were lucky to have Rune in goal who stopped everything. You could say it was a hard-earned home victory. The coach said before the match that we want to take at least seven more points before the winter break. We’ve taken a big step in that direction and now turn our attentions to our match in Stuttgart!
Fabian Lustenberger: It's difficult because the three Frankfurt attackers always stayed forward when we were in possession, lurking for a chance. We the first half, we didn't give them anything. We sat deeper in the second half. We might have got a bit of luck, but luck also has to be on our side. Marko has everything: attacking quality, stability in defence, he's good in the air and with the ball. People often speak about complete players and he has everything that a central midfielder needs. We're glad that he's with us and he's fit again. We're not as bad defensively as what's been written recently. Whoever plays, whoever's out injured, everyone digs in and gives their best. Sometimes it goes wrong like against Leipzig, but the quality in the team is good and you saw that again against Frankfurt. We're happy that we've won two in a row. We've got three games left now and, in our current form, we want to win all three.
Marvin Plattenhardt: It was a hard-fought game, which we managed to win. We played especially well in the first half, as we managed to get in between their defence and midfield well. Unfortunately it was a little bit nervy at the end, but we are just happy to take all three points. It's nice to score a goal from a set-piece again, as we haven't done that for a while now. Hopefully we can carry on doing this. We have a few more games before Christmas and hopefully we can get a few more wins. We want to start by getting some points in Stuttgart.
Mathew Leckie: It was definitely a tough game. They are a really strong team, who have scored lots of goals this season - so we knew what to expect. In the first half we played really well and made some good chances. After deservedly taking the lead, we were well-disciplined and showed some good character. Overall, it was a top home win. I'm especially happy that Marko got the winning goal. He has worked so hard to get back to full fitness, so we're delighted to have him back in the team, especially as he enhances our game and is a kind of midfielder we don't have.
Davie Selke: Our game plan was very intense and tiring, but everybody did their jobs brilliantly. It's nice that we went ahead thanks to a set-piece goal and that we could see the game out the way we did. These are three very important points, especially considering how strong they are. Marko is a fantastic player, who combines our defence and attack expertly. It's always good to score in front of our fans. Thanks to this win, we are now right in the top section of the table. We have confidence and this will come in handy for our remaining games ahead of the winter break.
