Pál Dárdai made four changes to the team that lost last weekend. Captain Vedad Ibišević and Ondrej Duda returned from their respective suspensions and replaced Davie Selke and Valentino Lazaro in the starting XI. The fit-again Niklas Stark and Marko Grujić came in for Peter Pekarik and Maximilian Mittelstädt. Ex-Herthaner Genki Haraguchi started for the opposition.

In early summer weather on Easter Sunday, the ‘Old Lady’ took on Hannover 96 at the Olympiastadion. Lukas Klünter had the first chance of the game within the first minute as he cut inside from the right before drilling his effort into the side-netting (1’). Six minutes later, Ondrej Duda skied an effort after some great work down the right flank from the Hertha captain. Salomon Kalou had several chances in the last 15 minutes and alongside Davie Selke, were unable to find the back of the net. Shortly before the end, Kalou had another good effort saved by the Hannover goalkeeper. The final score ended 0-0.
Conclusion and Outlook
With 36 points, the ‘Old Lady’ remain in 11th place in the Bundesliga. Hertha BSC will face Eintracht Frankfurt next weekend on Saturday (27´/04/19, 15:30).
