Niklas Stark ruled out for the rest of the season

The centre-half suffered an injury to his right ankle at the end of Sunday’s game against Hannover 96.

Berlin – The bad news continues: Niklas Stark picked up a bad ankle injury in the game against Hannover 96. After a medical examination, it has become clear that Stark has broken his ankle, as well as tearing a ligament. The defender will therefore not feature again for Pál Dárdai’s team this campaign.
Stark, who was called into the Germany squad by Joachim Löw for the first time in March, appeared 22 times in the Bundesliga and three times in the DFB-Pokal this season. Since signing for Hertha from 1. FC Nürnberg in 2015, he has made 111 appearances for the club.
