Darida fighting for place at EURO 2020

Vladimir Darida will face Kosovo on Thursday (14/11/19) with the Czech Republic. Javairo Dilrosun and Daishawn Redan travel with the Netherlands youth teams.

International matches replace league games: In the coming week, eleven Herthaner will go on international duty for the last time in 2019. Vladimir Darida is still fighting with the Czech Republic for a place at the European Championships in 2020 as they have a mammoth fixture on Thursday (14/11/19, 20:45 CET) against Kosovo. After the victory against England, the Czechs have their own chance to qualify for the European Championship. The Central Europeans are confident for their upcoming matches because of their recent successes: "We have a good chance of qualifying for the European Championships and the next match against Kosovo in November will be very important as we’re at home and want to win," said Darida who was confident of the upcoming task. Should Thursday not work out for the Czech Republic, Jaroslav Silhavy’s side will have the chance to finalise their qualification against Bulgaria next Tuesday (17/11/19, 18:00 CET).

The young Herthaner in action

The Herthaner will also be represented at youth level on Wednesday and Thursday. Javairo Dilrosun and Daishawn Redan will meet up with their international teammates to take on Gibraltar on Thursday 11th November (19:00 CET). Julian Albrecht and Lazar Samardzic already took part in the first of their three games over the next five days, as they picked up a 2-1 victory over Portugal U19s (13/11/19).
