“We’ve done our homework!”

A long training week finally end for the Herthaner on Friday with a press conference which saw Jürgen Klinsmann and Vedad Ibisevic take up the podium and answer some questions about Saturday’s match with SC Freiburg. “We’re really looking forward to the game, we’ve trained well and we need the points,” said coach Klinsmann. “We’ve had two games now where I feel our performance has warranted more than we got, but this time we want to get all three points. We know the quality that Freiburg possess, but we’ve prepared well and we want to win. We’ve done our homework!”

Vedad Ibisevic also spoke about the club’s current predicament in the league: “Of course there are nice situations to be in,” said the Bosnian. “But as a professional football you have to deal with these situations, work hard, and do everything you can to get out of it.” According to the striker, who has recently found his chances coming off the bench, when you’re in this situation “it’s not about individuals. You know what I’m like: I always want to play. But I’m fully prepared to help the team from the bench, if that’s what the coach needs from me!”
