Lucas Tousart picks up minor knee injury

Lucas Tousart picked up a minor injury to his knee in the game against Wolfsburg that will keep the midfielder sidelined for a short period. Despite fears of damage to his ligaments, a scan revealed that the Frenchman has just picked up a knock and will only be out for a few days.
Lucas Tousart’s game ended prematurely yesterday as Bruno Labbadia was forced to replace the midfielder after 57 minutes. Further scans of the injury showed that the 23-year-old has picked up a knock to his knee and no injury to the ligaments was present. Tousart, who moved to Hertha from Olympique Lyon over the summer, will sit out training for the next few days to recover. However, it is unlikely that he will feature in next Saturday’s trip to FC Augsburg (07.11.20, 15:30 CET). The Frenchman has played in every match so far this season for Hertha, not missing a single minute of competitive football until yesterday. Compatriot Mattéo Guendouzi replaced the midfielder, making his competitive debut in the Bundesliga.
