Matchdays 16-18 scheduled

The DFL have confirmed the dates and kick-off times for matchdays 16-18, with two Saturday matches awaiting Hertha BSC either side of a Tuesday-night fixture.

The new year brings not only new hope for teams in the Bundesliga, but a busy schedule too, which every team set to play six times in the league in January. Having already scheduled matchdays 14 and 15 last month, the DFL on Thursday (17.12.20) confirmed the schedules up until matchday 18. 

Following evening kick-offs against FC Schalke 04 (02.01.21, 18.30 CET) and Arminia Bielefeld (10.01.21, 18:00), Hertha return to Saturday afternoon action at 1. FC Köln on 16th January (15:30). That match is followed by a Tuesday night showdown against TSG Hoffenheim (19.01.21, 20:30), before a second home game in almost as many days to officially commence the Rückrunde against SV Werder Bremen (23.01.21, 18:30).
