"We will try and take the positives"

Lukas Klünter and Rune Jarstein answered the media’s questions after defeat to Eintracht Frankfurt.
Pál Dárdai and Arne Friedrich embraced one another and let their emotions run wild on the sidelines. After giving Hertha the lead in Frankfurt, Krzysztof Piątek and co. celebrated in front of the dugout with Friedrich close at hand. The mood changed shortly after the restart, with Eintracht cancelling out Piątek’s opener after just 93 seconds. Two more goals in the final minutes denied Hertha any points. “We had aimed to stay as compact as possible after taking the lead. Unfortunately we didn’t manage that,” said Lukas Klünter after his first Bundesliga appearance of the season. Also featuring for the first time was Rune Jarstein. "Frankfurt scored two goals from two crosses. We had to defend those situations better. Otherwise, it was a good performance. We showed that we are a good team but we have to keep fighting and, above all else, score some points,” said the ‘keeper.
Lukas Klünter: We had aimed to stay as compact as possible after taking the lead. Unfortunately we didn’t manage that. Until the goal, we hadn’t actually allowed many dangerous crosses to come in, we defended them well. Obviously it’s a huge shame because we felt good going into the match. You have to consider that the coach has only been here for five days. Obviously it doesn’t help us to be going home empty-handed, but we are trying to take the positives and we will try to get some points against Bayern next Friday.
Rune Jarstein: I was told on Friday that I would be playing. Once it was clear that Pál Dárdai would be coming back as coach, I had hope that I would be able to feature again. I gave it everything in training this week and I gave the match my full focus. Obviously I’m happy to be back in goal. Unfortunately we didn’t get our reward today, we come away without any points. Frankfurt scored two goals from two crosses. We had to defend better in those situations. Otherwise, it was a good performance. We showed that we are a good team but we have to keep fighting and, above all else, score some points. Our current tally is not enough. We know where we stand in the table and we have to be realistic. Only points will help us.
