Earlier 20:00 CET kick-off for home game vs. Bayern

Berlin – The Bundesliga game between Hertha BSC and FC Bayern Munich on Friday (05.02.21) will start at the earlier time of 20:00 CET, half an hour ahead of its originally scheduled kick-off. The change has been jointly agreed by both clubs, as well as media partner DAZN, who will broadcast the match in Germany. The reason for the move is Bayern’s participation in the FIFA Club World Cup, with the Munich club set to play in Qatar next Monday and Thursday. In order for the Bundesliga leaders to meet FIFA’s hygiene regulations for the competition, including coronavirus testing, Bayern will travel to Doha on Friday night following the Bundesliga game in Berlin. Moving kick-off forward allows them to make the necessary flight out later in the evening.
