Two finals and two friendlies

The second international break of the 2021/22 season is approaching the home stretch. Six games with Hertha involvement remain, with four of them taking place on Monday. Marcel Lotka and Christalina Atemona are the first in action in friendlies at 15:00 CEST, with Poland U20 and Germany U20 respectively. Poland will take on Norway in Oslo, while Germany host Romania in Potsdam.

‘Peka’ and ‘Jove’ need wins

The evening sees Peter Pekarík and Stevan Jovetić in World Cup qualification action. Pekarík and Slovakia sit in fourth place on seven points with three games remaining, behind Croatia (16 points), Russia (16) and Slovenia (10). Štefan Tarkovič’s side will look to kick off an important run in with three points when they take on the World Cup runners up in Osijek at 20:45 CEST.

Jovetić and Montenegro also have a tough task ahead. His side have eleven points and also sit on fourth place, behind leaders Netherlands (16 points), Norway (14) and Turkey (12). Miodrag Radulović’s side will take on second-place Norway at 20:45 CEST.
