Bundesliga matchdays 14 to 21 scheduled

November has begun and 2021 is coming, slowly but surely, to an end, but there is still football to be played. On Thursday afternoon, the exact dates and times for our games to end this year and start 2022 were confirmed by the DFL. December starts with matchday 14, a trip south and west to VfB Stuttgart on Sunday 5th (15:30 CET). A week later, Arminia Bielefeld will visit the Olympiastadion in a Saturday afternoon game (11.12.21, 15:30 CET), the penultimate home game before the winter break.

“Topspiel” at home to Borussia Dortmund

The game against Bielefeld marks the start of a three-game week for the Blue-Whites. Just three days after DSC’s visit, we are scheduled to face 1. FSV Mainz 05 on Tuesday 14th (20:30 CET). A week full of work for our Herthaner will conclude on Saturday evening, with a big game. The final game before the winter break will see Borussia Dortmund visit our home on Saturday December 18th, in the traditional “Topspiel” time-slot of 18:30 CET.

FC Bayern to visit Olympiastadion at 17:30 CET on a Sunday

After the two-week winter break, our “Old Lady” get back to work with a home game on Sunday January 9th, when 1. FC Köln visit the Olympiastadion (15:30 CET). The New Year continues with a trip to VfL Wolfsburg the following Saturday afternoon (15.01.22, 15:30 CET), the first away game for Pál Dárdai’s side in 2022. After returning from the Cathedral city, Hertha fans can look forward to three home games in a row, with FC Bayern München’s visit on Sunday 23rd (17:30 CET) coming after a midweek clash with city rivals 1. FC Union Berlin in the DFB-Pokal (19.01.22, 20:45 CET). That third home game will be against VfL Bochum on a Friday night and kicks off the month of February for Hertha, as the side with on-loan Herthaner Eduard Löwen in their ranks visit the capital on February 4th (20:30 CET).
