Lucas Tousart leaves Hertha BSC

Lucas Tousart has left Hertha BSC and joins 1. FC Union with immediate effect. “Lucas has always sacrificed everything for the shirt and given his all for the club, the team and the fans. This is one of the reasons that we agreed to his wish for a move, and we would like to wish him all the best,” outlined Benjamin Weber. “Hertha BSC was my first club outside of my homeland. The whole club welcomed me from the very beginning and has always supported me. I wish the club all the best,” said the midfielder.

The 26-year-old joined Hertha in January 2020, before spending half a year spent back on loan at Olympique Lyon. He then arrived in Berlin in the summer of 2020. He played 96 competitive games in three seasons at the ‘Old Lady’, scoring nine goals and contributing a further five assists.
