11 players on international duty in March
A total of 11 Hertha BSC players have been called up to play for their countries during the March international break, with several looking to make a strong impression in order to earn a place at this summer's European Championship in Germany. Márton Dárdai has earned his first senior call-up for Hungary, while Andreas Bouchalakis, Smail Prevljak and Haris Tabaković are all taking part in the play-offs to determine the final sides to qualify for EURO 2024. Peter Pekarík has been included in Slovakia's squad for their upcoming friendlies. Tjark Ernst (U20), Tim Goller, Pascal Klemens and debutant Ibrahim Maza (all U19) have all been called up to play for Germany's youth sides, with Gustav Christensen in action for the Denmark U20s.
