Löwen joins Bochum on loan

Eduard Löwen will join VfL Bochum on loan for the 2021/22 season, the two clubs announced on Monday (28/06/21). "The loan deal with VfL is a good thing for all those involved. We're pleased that Edu will have the chance to gain match practice in the Bundesliga and that he will be able to take an important step in continuing his development," said sporting director Fredi Bobic.

Löwen joined Hertha in summer 2019 from 1. FC Nürnberg. After going out on loan to FC Augsburg in the second half of the 2019/20 season, the 24-year-old returned to Berlin last summer. Löwen has been capped seven times for the Germany U21s, and has appeared in 14 Bundesliga games for the 'Old Lady.'
