Hertha Turns Up Berlin: Our new shirt is here!

For over a year, Bundesliga stadiums had to be silent. Our team had to do without the important and d deafening support from the fans during the most difficult periods of the season. With the designs of the new home and away jerseys, the capital club are livening things up again and combining tradition with the unique Berlin attitude to life.

The new Herthaner home shirt is predominantly white and combines the classic, blue vertical stripes with a dynamic and modern look for the upcoming season. The chest features our embroidered flag, a blue Nike swoosh and the logo of our new main sponsor Autohero - finished with blue sleeve cuffs and a blue collar. The logo of our sleeve partner Hyundai is on the left upper arm, and the back of the kit is white, ready to be embellished with with blue shirt numbers and names. The club name is above, the player name below the number. For the first time, the neck of the new jersey will feature our own chant 'HaHoHe'. The new shirt is complemented by blue shorts and white socks.

Navy on the road

Away from home, the 'Old Lady' will be wearing a dark blue jersey that reflects the modern Berlin lifestyle with turquoise detailing on the collar and sleeve cuffs, with name and number printing in the same colour. The club logo on the chest is partnered by a white Nike swoosh and the logo of the main sponsor Autohero. The new partner purposely avoids using its standard multicoloured logo in order to emphasise the minimalist design of the jersey. As with the home shirt, the Hyundai logo is on the left arm. The team will wear matching shorts and socks.

Made from recycled plastic bottles

Our new jerseys, both the player issue and fan replicas, are made from 100 percent recycled polyester fabric derived from recycled plastic bottles. This creates a kit that delivers top performance while having less impact on the environment. The plastic bottles are collected, cleaned and melted down to produce a high-quality yarn suitable for production. This is part of Nike's Move to Zero initiative, where football apparel leads the way in sustainability. No other sport attracts global attention like football, so Nike has been using recycled polyester to make its kits since 2010. Each year, Nike helps to ease the impact by diverting one billion plastic bottles from landfills and waterways with its use of recycled polyester in its production and design process.

The new shirt costs 89.95€ in the adult unisex version (S-XXXL), with the children's version (XS-XL) priced at 69.95€. Shirt printing costs 12.95€ for a player's name and 14.95€ for custom names. Our new Nike home and away jerseys are available to purchase now in all official fanshops (Fanshop Geschäftsstelle, Fanshop Europacenter, Fanshop Olympiastadion, Fanshop Hauptbahnhof, Fanshop Gropiuspassagen and Fanshop LP12) and of course online at www.herthashop.de and www.nike.com.
