Krzysztof Piątek moves to Fiorentina

Krzysztof Piątek will play for ACF Fiorentina in the second half of this season. The Italians, who are currently seventh in Serie A, have signed the Polish international on loan until the end of the season and have also secured an option to buy him. “Krzysztof came to us with the request of a change. It’s no secret that he feels at home in Serie A, so this is a good solution for all parties,” commented Fredi Bobic on Thursday.

The forward moved to the capital from AC Milan in January 2020, playing 58 times for Hertha in all competitions. Overall, he scored 13 goals and recorded four assists for the Old Lady. Before his time at Milan, the Pole also scored goals for Genoa. Back in his home country, he previously appeared for KS Cracovia and Zagłębie Lubin.
