Jena away in the DFB-Pokal

The DFL will announce the fixture list for the 2023/24 season on 30th June. The first matchday of the 2. Bundesliga will be played between 28th and 30th July. The DFB-Pokal is then scheduled for after our first two league games. The draw for this season’s cup was made in Dortmund on Sunday and Pál Dárdai’s side will face FC Carl Zeiss Jena. The Hungarian commented: “FC Carl Zeiss Jena is a club with lots of tradition and a big fan base. They had a good season under René Klingbeil in the Regionalliga Nordost and we cannot underestimate them. It won't be easy, but we're looking forward to it."

The match against Jena will take place between 11th and 14th August. The second round is scheduled for the 31st October and 1st November. The DFB-Pokal final will be held at our Olympiastadion on 25th May 2024.
