Timings released for matchdays 1 and 2
Hertha BSC’s first match of the 2023/24 Bundesliga 2 season will take place away at Fortuna Düsseldorf on Saturday evening (29/07/23, 20:30 CEST). The team will play their first home game the following weekend, as they host SV Wehen Wiesbaden on Friday evening (04/08/23, 18:30 CEST). After having announced the fixtures for the upcoming season last Friday, the DFL today released the timings for the first two matchdays.
After the fixtures had been released, Hertha sporting director Benjamin Weber commented: “With the game against Düsseldorf, we are starting against a team that showed last season that they belong to the top teams in Bundesliga 2. We are also looking forward to the first home game against Wiesbaden in front of our incredible fans and hopefully a full crowd.” The DFL will release more timings in the coming weeks.
