Selib Telib signs professional contract

Hertha BSC have signed 17-year-old academy player Selim “Mimo” Telib to a professional contract which will start in summer 2024. “We’re really pleased that we’ve been able to present another young player from our academy with a convincing project in Mimo and secure him to the club for the long term,” said Andreas “Zecke” Neuendorf. “He is a central midfielder who is strong in the tackle and in addition to his defensive abilities, demonstrates intelligence and ball security. We’ll support him to the best of our ability on his journey and see a lot of potential within him.” The youngster said, “I’d like to thank Hertha BSC for the time, constant support and trust over the years, both in the good times and the not-so-good times. I’ll do my best to help the club.”
