Victory over Rangers

Marc Kempf’s header in the 45th minute from a Winkler corner was the only goal of the game in La Manga, Hertha’s final friendly before league action returns next weekend. Just like in the defeat to Mechelen earlier in the week, the opposition coach - Philippe Clement – was sent off for protesting a decision.

Hertha travel back to Germany on Sunday to finish preparations for the home game against Fortuna Düsseldorf on 21st January (13:30 CET).
