Hertha BSC sign Bradley Ibrahim

On transfer deadline day, the capital club have made another signing, with Bradley Ibrahim joining Hertha from Arsenal. The 19-year-old has signed a long-term contract with the Old Lady which will run through to 2027. “We have always been clear that we will keep an eye on the market and take advantage of opportunities as they arise. That was the case with Bradley. He is an exciting defensive player with great qualities and a lot of potential, who should strengthen us for the future,” explained sporting director Benjamin Weber. Our new arrival is also happy about his switch from the Thames to the Spree. “I was really happy about the interest from Hertha BSC. The club has a great history and gives young players the chance to establish themselves as professionals. I want to use mine and keep developing,” said the Londoner, who will wear the number 23 at Hertha.

Two junior international appearances; three in Arsenal’s first team
Our newcomer can be deployed both in holding midfield and in central defence. At the Gunners, the six foot one defensive player rose through the ranks to make 17 appearances (1 goal, 4 assists) in the Premier League 2 for Arsenal’s U21s. He had previously played 35 games in the U18 Premier League, scoring four goals and adding two assists. In November of last year, the two-cap England youth international made a senior Arsenal league squad for the first time, having already featured twice in the historic club’s squad in the Europa League. Now the Englishman swaps one capital for another as a deadline day signing for the Blue-Whites.
